The Twisted Sistas Crop is a fun-filled casual get together that's held once a month. It was created because some of the sistas wanted a place to gather together to create cool stuff. It's not affiliated with any group, association or store and these sistas are on a mission. One to inspire you, provide a nice place to get together, relax and have a great time.
There's no pressure and lots of choices, and that's just how we like it! We hope you will too.
You can bring your own projects and crop away, just like a traditional crop. You can also participate in a class or two scheduled within the open crop time. Whatever you choose to work on: it's all good!
TEACHERS
The teachers have taught scrapbooking and papercrafting on a national level. They've been featured in articles and published in books! They work within the industry designing product and assisting manufacturers. They are scrapbookers, designers, card makers, mixed-media artists and stampers! Some are even certified (CRAZY, that is!) They are all well-credentialed and love to teach.
One of the biggest bonuses of being a twisted sista is that our teachers will share ideas and resources. All the time. Every time. All you have to do is ask. And, from time to time they might have special product from companies they've been working with; newly learned tips and tricks or just cool ideas to share. Whatever you're interested in, they're here to help. That's why we love them!
HOW CLASSES WORK
When it's possible, they will preview the next month's classes, so you can "reserve" a kit. This will also allow the teachers to purchase enough supplies for everyone. However (and this is big) when vintage, found-objects or limited edition elements are used, there may be a limited number of kits available that month. Because some of the classes are unique and have been developed especially for the sistas, they will be on a first-come, first serve basis.
Our teachers are interested in two things. #1: Providing their sistas with great classes and #2: making them fun. If you are interested in learning a specific technique or have an idea for a class, please let us know. Our teachers will do everything we can to accommodate.
From time to time, there will be "challenge kits" or "project kits" available. There will always be something new, you can bet on that!
IMPORTANT STUFF: FOOD AND GIVEAWAYS
Snacks will be provided. Pepsi products are available and you may purchase a glass for one dollar. Your one teenie tiny little dollar also entitles you to unlimited refills for that crop. If you would prefer, you may bring your own drink. If you have a special treat you enjoy, you may bring that, too.
There will be giveaways and/door prizes at every crop. Everyone will have an equal opportunity to win!

GUIDELINES
There are only a few guidelines for a Twisted Sista Crop. We're not calling them rules, because we have way too many of them in our life.
Here they are:
- If you sign up for a class or kit, you understand you are promising to pay for it;
- No "dissing" a sista. If you do, we will make you run with scissors;
- Share your chocolate, you know it's the right thing to do;
- No kids at the crop. Sorry, we love 'em but we need peace and quite;
- Have fun, that's why we're all here!
THE GOAL
The goal of the Twisted Sistas Crop is to bring the fun and excitement back into scrapbooking. It's to give you a creative boost and a great place to gather together to do that. It's to share fresh, new ideas and to inspire each other.

So, sistas, it's up to you. Whether you're a card-artist, scrapbooker, project person or anything in between, you are welcome to be a sista and share friendship and encouragement at the crops.
